Thanks for visiting! To tell you a bit about myself the first thing to know is that I truly love what I do. My work enables me to help people enjoy greater financial security in retirement. I specialize in safe money strategies, ways to protect your hard-earned savings from investment risk.  I focus on two issues primarily: protection and income. Protection is important for obvious reasons. Income is of paramount importance to retirees. The reason is it is your income, not your savings that creates your standard of living. Dana’s thought leadership is sought by many, and frequently serves as a keynote speaker for insurance organizations, regulatory bodies and news media. Dana is also a founding member of The Masters Institute, served as chapter president of the Society For Financial Awareness (SOFA), member of the National Financial Educators Council, Foundation For Fiduciary Education, Inc and Institute of Financial Wellness. With more than four decades of experience in multiple roles, Dana is one of the foremost authorities on retirement planning with respect to Social Security optimization, fixed indexed annuities, life insurance retirement plans (LIRP), long term care, Medicare, alternative asset risk placement and tax-free assets and income which includes the proprietary Cash Balanced Roth© - the amazing Roth conversion strategy which allows the holder of Qualified funds to not have to pay the conversion taxes out of their own pocket. Dana and his wife, Debbie, reside in the Fort Collins area where they enjoy family, travel, camping, fishing, and supporting several charitable causes.

*The foundation is that what is left when the eye of a hurricane completely engulfs an island. When it passes, the destruction of the force of the winds and rain only leaves the foundation of the original structures. That is what I help to ensure remains when financial winds blow in the wrong direction.
